WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

1. WE LOOK IT OVER
I’ll check the date, guest count, location, and what you’re asking for. If the date works and Renegade looks like a good fit, I’ll get back to you and we’ll talk through the details.

2. WE BUILD THE MENU
We’ll settle on what we’re making and how much of it you need. Once we’ve got it figured out, I’ll send you a straightforward quote for the food and any delivery costs.

3. YOU RESERVE THE DATE
Once you accept the quote and the deposit is received, the date is yours. From there, I handle the cooking and we coordinate delivery.

  • Every order is built around the menu, quantities, and number of people you're feeding. As a general planning number, most gatherings land around $45–$75 per person. Simpler menus may come in below that. Premium proteins and off-menu requests can push it higher.

  • Renegade is built for smaller gatherings, not large-scale catering. Most orders are designed around groups of about 20 people or fewer. Larger gatherings or more complicated menus may be possible depending on what you're asking for. Send it over, and we'll figure out what makes sense.

  • Renegade cooks specifically for each order. Two weeks’ notice is a good place to start. Shorter notice may work depending on the menu and what’s already on the calendar. Ask.

  • A 50% deposit locks in your date. The remaining balance is due before delivery. Quotes reflect current ingredient costs and are valid for seven days.

  • Cancel 15 or more days before delivery and your deposit will be refunded minus a 10% booking fee.

    Cancel 8–14 days before delivery and the deposit is non-refundable. Cancel within 7 days and the full order is non-refundable.

  • Delivery is available throughout the Chicago area depending on location and schedule. Any delivery cost will be included in your quote. A mutually agreed meeting location can also be arranged if you’re outside greater Chicago.

  • Some food is packaged for reheating or finishing at home because that’s how it eats best. When that’s the case, you’ll get straightforward instructions with your order. After delivery or handoff, proper storage, holding, reheating, and serving are your responsibility.

  • Renegade uses common allergens including dairy, nuts, wheat, and eggs and cannot guarantee an allergen-free preparation environment. If you need to know whether a menu item contains a specific ingredient, ask before ordering.

  • Renegade cooks, packages, and delivers food for smaller gatherings. We don’t provide on-site cooking or staffing, table service, event setup, rentals, or cleanup.
